About the app
I cannot update the app.
If the update button does not appear in the App Store or Google Play store, please try this.
■iPhone customers
You can update the app by refreshing your account page in the App Store app.
<How to update your account page>
[1] Press and hold the "App Store" app on your smartphone's home screen.
[2] Tap "Update" to view your account page.
[3] Swipe down on the account page
→The page will refresh, so please update the app from the "Available Updates" list.
*If you are using iOS 12, you will need to open the App Store app and go to your account page (the long-press function on the home screen is not available).
■Android customers
Restarting or updating the Google Play app, or restarting your device, may resolve the issue. Please try these steps.
If the problem persists, please check the following.
Please check your internet connection and ensure no other apps are updating, then try the following:
- Restart the Google Play app and restart your device.
- Clear the cache
- Perform a forced shutdown.
<How to clear the cache>
[1] Press and hold the "Google Play" app on your smartphone's home screen.
[2] Tap "App information" to display the app information page for the Google Play app.
[3] Tap "Storage usage"
[4] Tap "Clear Cache" to complete the cache clearing process.
→Please try opening the Google Play app again and attempting to update it.
<How to force stop>
[1] Press and hold the "Google Play" app on your smartphone's home screen.
[2] Tap "App information" to display the app information page for the Google Play app.
[3] Tap "Force quit"
→Please try opening the Google Play app again and attempting to update it.
*If the "App Info" button does not appear even when you long-press, open your smartphone's settings app, select "Apps (or Applications)", then select "Google Play" to open the app information page.
If pressing the update button doesn't work, please try updating the Google Play app or freeing up storage space on your smartphone.
